Where do you find resonance in yourself?

For me I find my resonance in my emotions and heart chakra - hence the moniker Resonant Heart.

I process the impulses coming into my sensory field first through my emotions, then in my body and finally I am able to think about what they mean to me.

You might ask, "so what"? Well it is an important link to my higher self. It is the instrument panel, so to speak, for connecting with my higher source.

When I’m connected to my source (higher self), I can detect it using these instruments.

While I believe some people may have similarly configured instrument panels, I also believe that everyone is unique in the exact details related to how they process their experiences in this world is also unique.

My daughter processes information like me, leading with her emotions. My wife is a thinker, she processes information first with her intellect.

What is important is to be able to use the instrument panel to gain insight into the information our higher self is sending us.

Developing our capacity to listen to our Creator

We need to develop our capacity to listen to the messages and signs from of our Creator. As an example of what I’m referring to, consider this synchronicity.

In yesterday’s post, I compare Andreas Vollenweider music to that produced by Eminem. Well later that same day, out of the clear blue sky, a former colleague popped up an instant message that read “hey do you like Eminem?”

That certainly got my attention.

On its face one’s first response might be to say “it’s just coincidence”. However, the person in question is not someone I regularly chat with on IM. Furthermore, consider the odds of this “coincidence”. On the very same day I decide to drop a message in a bottle into the blogesphere, I would be contacted regarding a central topic within that bottle.

The person’s message was interesting as well. They wanted me to listen to Eminem’s music with a fresh, open pair of ears. Interesting from the perspective that in yesterday’s post I suggested that Eminem’s music is not one I particularly care for, however the Universe might have me take a second look, and or look at things from a different perspective. You see the Universe rejects NOTHING!

Certainly, I need to listen to this message. But what is it saying? Ah here is the crux of the matter. The first part is to be able to “see the signs” to listen to the message. The second and some times more challenging aspect is to understand what the message is telling us.

Maybe I need develop unconditional acceptance. Maybe I just need to practice listening without prejudice.

Whatever it is I am sure of one thing synchronicity is an important “channel” for us to be tuned into – to resonate with.

A Life in Resonance

We are all living lives in resonance. This premise is where we start.

The question is in resonance with what?

Are you in resonance with Love, Light, and Peace or are you in resonance with Hate, Darkness, and Malice?

I find my resonance shifting during the days, weeks, months, and years of my life.

I find my resonance shifting as I shift my consciousness and attention.

I find my resonance can be manipulated like my moods with what I put into my body and where I place my attention. The books I read, the movies I watch and especially the music I listen to can have profound affects on the frequency at which I resonate.

I believe we are all capable of resonating at any frequency available in the infinite range of frequencies expressed in the Universe.

The key to living a life in resonance is to associate yourself in every way possible with those frequencies that best match where and what you want to be.

For me, if find that Andreas Vollenweider more closely matches the frequencies I wish my life to express than does Eminem.

But for me there is another element to all of this and that is the struggle over expressing those frequencies I aspire to. The highest frequencies of existence the uplift and exalt the soul.

Our culture is steeped in the darker ego-centric energies the dull the awareness and appreciation for higher frequencies.

The “rat race” compels us to soldier on and beats us down until all we have the energy to do is crack a cold one and slouch in front of the boob tube.

What I hope to provide within the pages of this blog is a sanctuary, a respite from the chaos, and a place where the aroma of higher frequencies can revitalize and provide solace for both of us.
